What did you do with your 4runner today?

Anyone know if any of the later model 4th gens came with the bumper with the marker lights in it?

2004 V8 Sport. From what I understand not any different than any other 2003-2005 4runner. Changed bumper style in 2006 refresh.

Haha. You edited your post as I was responding. In 2006 the reflectors were integrated into tail lights and markers went away. No actual bulb in US 2003-2005 models

Flushed the power steering fluid with M1 Synthetic ATF.

I've got new fluids in absolutely everything within the last 15k miles now.

The pile of parts in my buddy's shop is growing. I hope to wrench on it Sunday, so I hauled it all over there today.

We will be welding the Rola vortex up tight, and mounting it on some custom brackets I made.

Installing some serious 3/16" steel skid plates I recently grabbed.

And some Daystar spacers front and rear. Just enough to help clear the 265/70/17 all terrains.

if your talking the rear bumper then yes, but not in the states. you would have to find a hilux surf rear bumper

Any issues with CA regulations on that?

None. You can do anything you want from the catalytic converter back. In fact, my Toyota mechanic friend who smogs cars too did this to his. I'm doing it to mine next week.

Not that it is an issue in this case, but if you put a loud pipe on there or something you might have noise issues, but no emissions issues.

$10 U Pull find this morning. Gentex 313 auto dimming + homelink rear view mirror + 2 cigarette 12v plugs. Will be installing one in each rear door for the kids.

I have some wiring to do soon.

Love em man! No issues...it dims the lights ...barely tho...not considerably ...but if you have HIDs, or just anything but stock bulbs, you'll be fine

Cut the rubbing spots where the front bumper cover wraps around into the wheel-well (that little corner) with a dremel today. Came out looking factory. Also replaced the 15Amp fuse for the front power outlet(my son dropped some coins in there, and it blew out)
