Got my replacement wheel bearing in today but apon opening the package, there is a metal ring that is damaged. I'm wondering, is this the knuckle seal or a different seal?

Used some windex on the black parts around the windows, roof rack and mirrors. I think I took off 12 years of armor all. They looked all bluey and oily but dull at the same time. A thin coat of cleaner/wax shined them right up.
Pic just after a few wipes with windex. Towels kept turning black right away.

Upgraded my steering wheel, hard wired a Qvia R975 dual dash cam, and installed an aFe Pro DRY S air filter.

So I got the black wood version... didn't realize until afterwards that it wasn't the piano black version which I wanted. However the color/design has grown on me as it sort of matches the door accents and the center dash colors of black/grey. I was able to get one at $190 using the make an offer button. Love the thickness and design... I feel more in control and it has a very sporty feeling.

Qvia R975 (Premium brand from Lukas) dual dash cam with parking mode. Did A LOT of research before getting two of these (one for my other car). Had all the features I was looking for - dual SD card slots, parking mode, wifi, hard wire kit, GPS, 4" 800x400 screen, PIP. Nothing else I found compares to this model and its features.

Tires!!!

Installed the set of 315 Duratracs that I picked up off craigslist. Had them installed on factory rims for now. they are load range D and i will be chalking them to find the optimum pressure for them. Cant wait to test them out on our tree run in the snow in a couple weeks!

Still need to trim a bit more off the body mount.

I should probably do something like this. The dealer I bought mine from used so much armor all it was pooled in the cupholders. The outside got a similar treatment. And any time I touch one of the black rubber seals on the roof I come away with lovely black smears. That was fun the first time I waxxed it...

Thanks. A good friend has an upholstery business. I do part time sales and design for him. This project didn't cost me anything because I sold him my previous rig under market value in exchange he did all the seats in my 4Runner.

Another step on my slow path to rear bearing replacement. Now accumulating courage to actually press the rebuilt axle and new bearing together.

Not too glamorous but did a coolant drain and fill. Old stuff was still pink, no gunk/debris floating in it, so I probably could have gone a while longer... but manual says 50k after the first hundo... so thats what I did. Here's to hoping it helps prevent needing radiator #3 anytime soon.
