Tundra wheels and 285/70R17 KM2s are on! Little rubbing, so I'll get caster adjusted later this week.

Yep, OEM 1st gen Tundra/Sequoia wheels. I forget the exact year range, but I think these were from an '04. Got the set for $260 shipped from eBay. They're 7.5" wide and 15mm lower offset, so let 285s clear the upper control arms.
Had my Safari snorkel and an ARB Diff breather kit installed (front and rear diff, tranny and trans case). "Puddles" should not be a problem now.

sick, that might be my next setup though i dont hate my 255/75 ATs. stock UCA? those tundra wheels 15mm offset? i run the FJs with that offset and tall/skinnies dont rub much at all.
edit i see the wheel specs now...wonder if mine are 7.5" wide too and steel not aluminum...hmm. techs said balancing one of my fj wheels was a royal pia but i must say, she tracks well and doesnt wobble.
i might entertain installing tires on my next setup or future tires since im not dealing with sport car wheels/tires anymore. save $125 on mounting

I'm running SPC UCAs. They're great when the alignment shop doesn't screw em up! They said they knew how to adjust them, and I ended up with this on one side.....
The tech had no clue how to use the caster adjuster and tightened it down outside of the slot it's made to go into. Talking to Firestone corporate about it now.
I would've happily educated him on how to use the UCAs if he'd said "I don't know how to use this" instead of just slapping it together.

Nice snorkel! Any idea as to what impact a snorkel has, either positive or negative, on general-public (i.e., not just n this forum's classifieds) resale value?
Pulled out the rear double decker setup to start planning a rear cargo system. Planning on doing a flat floor with a pull out table underneath to start and then going to build to separate modular drawers that can be used together or independently, one will have a fridge slide on top.

Swapped out a junked JBL sub for a new Pioneer.
Easy job. Only took half an hour. I was shocked at how much dirt the PO got in behind the panes! How is this even possible?
Happy with the sound now! Decided to cut the wire to the center dash speaker. Difference is night and day.

Is the subwoofer worth the $64 and time to install? Is it really an upgrade?
Also, why do you disable the center speaker?

My sub and center speaker were completely blown. It was intolerable to listen to. For 64 bucks it was welllll worth the money. I work on cars for a living so the time was nominal.
As far as the center speaker goes I just didn't see the point in replacing it. But listing to it make noise was driving my crazy. Took 2 minutes to pop it out and snip a wire. Problem solved.
The sub replacement was a piece of cake. The stock sub connections are labeled plus and minus so just check the wires going to each becore you cut and strip them. It bolts right in, no drilling required.
