Sounds like they installed metallic or semi-metallic pads and/or didn't grease the backings. Take it back and see if they'll look it over and install something quieter if needed.

No its a full conversion with a custom FJ tcase with twin sticks.

Started it up and moved to the front of the garage so I can get it road-worthy, been sitting for years 
I figure now's the time to work on it while I'm off from work.
Taking a break from taking all the junk out and vacuuming mouse droppings. I may pull the carpet out this weekend to thoroughly clean it and run amplifier wiring while it's apart.
I also need to clear coat the the rust repair I did on the tailgate, replace the battery (it's done for), replace the faded and/or water damaged lighting, change the oil, and figure out what's the cause of the transmission-related malfunction code.

Got my Limited center console in with spots for 5 switches now instead of the stock 3. Just replaced all my back lighted switches with orange, which were recently blue (OCD won’t let me keep em blue lol). Just have to look for amber/orange back lighted USB charging port that I installed as well.
That gives me enough switches for now. If I need 1 more I can put my USB charging port inside my center console cubby. Problem is my dog would always step on my DAC button and engage it, no biggie though. But don’t want him to step on the rear light and blind someone behind me. Last step will be to add 1 more switch on the dash somewhere and make it an “ARM” switch to only send power to the light switches once they’re armed.
That gives me enough switches for now. If I need 1 more I can put my USB charging port inside my center console cubby. Restored my headlights
My headlights weren't too bad but I wasn't happy. The passenger side I began sanding with 1500 grit then 2000 grit, 3000 grit and finished with Megiar's Plastx. The drivers side I started at 2000 grit. Both sides I applied Meguiar's G17804 Keep Clear Headlight Coating. I am happy with the results.

Did the same as well a while back with getting a Limited comsole. I also moved the DAC switch to the left most spot to keep all the light switches together.

Lookin good! Your pic. threw me off for a minute, thought my picture was jumbled at first glance haha! I thought the same thing when I snapped my console back together. Figured I’d move my DAC Probably tomorrow to keep the lights together too.

Wow great job! What an amazing difference the headlights make. I was going to restore mine but had read they have to be done every year when they yellow again. I just decided to by new ones instead. After install they looked so amazing and a heck of an upgrade, I then realised my fog lights were now cloudy and lightly pitted after new headlights. Just got a restore kit today and will try my luck with them up tomorrow.

2nd gen Moog endlinks w/ES bushings (Read these rust pretty easily/quickly so I hit em with some paint), and Prothane rear zerks burshings (not pictured).
Spacers to correct the infamous driver's side lean. Daystar 1.5" right, Dobinson's 15mm right. I was off by ~1" with the 15mm, so I tried the 1.5" and it was STILL off by .5".
So back apart she went and I STACKED the 15mm INSIDE the 1.5" and placed it on top of the isolator. This worked perfectly, I'm now finally level in the rear lol.
It was tons of run trying to create enough clearance to shove that monstrosity in. :bash:
A tad over 2" was required to fix my lean. Wild.

2004 v8 runner did the transmission fluid replace, transfer case fluid , front and rear diff fluids, lined prop shaft, clean up and lubed diff breathers, and new air filter 
next up, spark plugs, throttle body service , cabin filter , wiper blades, pcv, brake fluid flush, power steering fluid flush , timing belt and water pump am I missing anything ??

Got my Headlights (lows/highs) and fog lights swapped over to all LED’s as well as restored my fog light lenses. They weren’t yellowed but were very pitted, it was apparent after I replaced my headlight lenses. Nice white light looks nice.

I'll check out the pads soon! They are probably due anyways.
However, the next morning I recalled seeing a post about pumping the brakes 40 times with the car "on" and 20 times "off". I did so and wow, it made a HUGE difference. The brakes do not feel squishy at all now. I used to have to press down pretty far to get the brakes to engage firmly or stop quickly. Now, I don't have to press down far for the brakes to engage.
Also, while i was doing the 40 pumps with it set to "on" the car started to beep and VSC and ABS lights came on. Turned the car off and did the 20 and it was all good!
You had the key on the 'On' position when doing the rears, correct? That brake booster will get ya.
yep! crazy you can hear the brake fluid rushing through the lines like water thru pipes. it made the whole process so easy. Honestly, the fronts were not hard either. I had my wife on the brake pedal which didn't take a whole lot of time.
