What did you do with your 4runner today?

Installed my new Pioneer AVH-2550NEX with Carplay last night. Pretty nice unit

Tonight-Installed and upgraded to my Bluetooth Steering wheel right side buttons

I finally finished my full interior LED swap. I was only lacking the vanity mirrors and glove compartment lights. I did upgrade to a little brighter LED’s for my back seat and cargo area (Superbright LED tested, Preying Mantis approved lol).

LED swap for my front parking lights. I would like to do the front DRL/blinkers and turns for the rear but hear it’s finicky.

FWIW (and I realize things may be a little different because you have a facelift) I just had to make sure that the LEDs for the running lights/blinkers were meant to replace dual-filament bulbs, and I was good to go. Wired in resistors for them, and they've been working great.

Finished getting the Shrockworks bumper mounted and lights wired up, new 275/70/17 BFG AT's with 5th gen plastidipped wheels. Also removed my front mud flaps and there is no more rubbing. Its finally coming together! Havent decided what to do with the turn signals in the bumper. . . I dont really need them with the turn signals in the headlights. I may just wire them to a switch as running lights? Any thoughts?

Looks good, what lift are you running? I also recently installed a SW bumper in the same configuration, planning on tapping into the turn signals and running lights when I have a minute but interested to hear what others have done as well.

Would you have part numbers, brands, and info. with your LED signal swap? Maybe a post you did? I was on superbrightled.com and want to make sure I get the right ones and what resistors are needed. Not sure if these are the right bulbs or not. Only the rear shows dual function.

Also Resistors vs. flashers? I’d rather not have to cut my wires and solder in resistors if I don’t have to but willing to consider if it’s my only option. Feel free to pm me. Thank you.

Unfortunately, you'll have to use resistors - as the flasher relays available don't work with DRLs. It's pretty simple to wire them in, though. Just find the ground wire, and the wire that provides the 'flash' voltage. Wire the resistor between those two and you're good to go. Resistor kits usually include everything you need to do it.

Honestly, just replace dual-filament blinkers with dual function LEDs (should be a 7443 bulb), figure out which wire provides the flash signal (turn on the blinker and probe the socket with a test light/multimeter), then wire a 'normal' LED resistor (can be found all over the place online) between that and ground, and you're done. Takes like 5 minutes per side.

Interesting - I'm seeing 3157 on that site and 7443 on SuperBrightLEDs. I believe mine are 7443, but now I'm curious if both will work

I am just running front suspension from a TRD Offroad 4x4 Tacoma with a 3/8" spacer, the rear is stock.
