The last week has been big for my new (to me) 04 sr5 v8. In no way is this a comprehensive list of the things I've done recently, not counting things done by shops:
-Radio swap to 9 inch touchscreen, works great with android auto.
-Interior LED swap (door bulbs didn't work, fyre flys is RMAing them to see why)
-So much cleaning inside
-Oil change with castrol max high mileage full synthetic and k&n filter
-Rear diff oil change (oil looked brand new still)
-Transfer case oil change (oil looked like sh*t and was extremely low. Had the tell tale signs of the actuator leak. I haven't touched my 4-lo switch and I'm not gonna. Threw 2oz of Blue Devil in when I filled the oil. Might be placebo, but I swear it rode smoother after this.
-Couldn't get to the front diff. No lift, stock height, no air tools, stupid hex keys are rusted. Not risking stripping them. Will have a shop do this one later.
-Complete transmission fluid exchange using the trans cooler method, toyota WS fluid. It sorely needed it, probably had never been changed at 17 years/190k miles. Was the consistency of water and was almost black. Yikes.
-Greased all 6 zerks on the driveshafts. Still have some rear clunk but nowhere near like it was. Will grease it again soon, I didn't want to over grease it, but maybe I didn't enough.
-Air filters
-Went off road for the first time at Uwharrie in NC. Didn't go far because street tires, no lift and no backup but it was a blast, my 4 year old was thrilled.

Big long list of to dos still...
-Install subwoofer
-Install backup camera (both at same time, need to pull many of the same trim panels)
-Repair paint transfer from left side
-Repair small rust spots in paint
-Swap license plate LEDs with new ones from Amazon
-Swap hood struts, stupid thing has fallen on my back at random twice now.
-Lots of exterior detail work
-Black out badging
Eventually to do list (as a package)
-Spacer lift kit
-new (larger) wheels
-new (larger) a/t tires
-We'll see where the control arms are at at this time too.
Thinking 2-4 years on this one. Otherwise I am happy with my 4 runner.
