Yup that's what I'm doing too, small hoops on the sides, simple round tube all the way around.

nice man! post a pic when you get it done and i'll do the same. I also have some baja s1 flush mounts that i'll install while he has the bumper off. right under that flat line on the rear bumper.

I've slowly been going through and replacing some of the worn body mount bushings and sleeves, so today was another worn, rusty sleeve coming out and a shiny new one going in. A little silicone spray around the area and it was back on with ease.

Upgraded the dash cluster LEDs to give a more modern look.

Before/After

I added a little white chalk over the odometer bulbs hoping to dim those down a little. That did work but it also made it a little yellower in hue. Which isn’t bothering me.

Added the Pedal Commander. Driving it in Sport 3 and loving it. 4Runner feels so much more responsive when hitting the throttle and it has greatly improved the driving experience.

I have been looking at doing this myself, I’m assuming the LEDs were unable to dim via the dash control? Was it too bright?

I was worried i would lose the dimming feature too and much to my surprise they are still dimmable just like before. I was even more shocked to learn that the original bulbs are also LED, just amber hue instead of white.

They are def brighter than the stock bulbs but I wouldnt say its distracting, since it can still be dimmed its a non-issue really. You can still set it to where you like.

Tackled a lot on the Runner this past weekend.

• New front Koyo Wheel Bearings.
• New CV Knuckle Seals
• Rebooted both CV Axles
• Threw on Toytec/Bilstein front coil overs (3" of lift)
• Rear 1.5" Daystar Spacer (Waiting on rear Bilstein 5100s in the mail)
• New brake pads all around
• Oil & Filter Change
• Trasnmission Drain & Fill
• Replaced the melted rear hatch button

In total it took 2 guys 2 days & 2 cases of Natty.
Not a bad way to spend a weekend.

Yesterday:
Rotate tires and swap brake pads as I was just hating the pads I had.

Today:
Swapped my UCA pivot bolt and nut, and regreased the UCA's. Need to make some time to grease up the driveline.

Definitely doing it myself, I don’t pay shops to do anything other than alignments lol

Trace Wires for Starter Kill Switch.

On my 2003 4 Runner, I prefer to do this at the starter.
I have found a yellow wire at starter which I think can be cut and then put a hidden switch into the cut circuit.

I wish I was sure.

I started the process of sound deadening the 4runner yesterday. So far I've covered the rear hatch/wheel wells and working my way towards the front seats. I ordered another box so I can probably do all the doors, might as well since I have all the panels off right now. haha
