Installed a replacement shift cable bushing today using the steps posted by [MENTION=78997]Drcoffee[/MENTION] (thanks). My bushing looked fine, very pliable, but I replaced it anyway. I can see that the bushing could become brittle if the factory lube dried up. Kept my current one as a spare. Bonus: a roll of electrical tape I lost while installing my amp years ago was under the back end of the console. LOL

What's everyone got for lower links? I have the Opt Offroad lower links on my mind.
Owned for about a year and most of the work I’ve done was just fixing issues, maintenance, and a suspension replacement. Finally time to add some mods!
- Painted and installed front recovery points from TrueNorthFabrication
- Weld and paint rear bumper from TrueNorthFabrication
- DIY 2003-2005 headlight retrofit(by far the most difficult and time consuming)
- replaced front rotors

Designed, 3d printed and painted center caps for my wheels. Based off Methods own topographic wheel caps haha
Hey what wheels are these? I can't seem to find the exact one on their website.
Fueled up and and hit 227777 on the odometer. Struggling to upload pics on my phone.
Also the wife’s 4R coolant tank was a little lower than the last time I checked…. Upon further investigation I found the common leak at the top of the rad. She’s due for a 200k service anyway so it’s not too bad. More room for tbelt access mechanic shouldn’t mind.

Dang I always thought with the True North rear bumper that you had to chop the rear cross member off? Looks really similar to my custom rear tube bumper.
Yes it does.
Nope, you don’t need to chop off the rear crossmember. They have all the instructions to weld it together on their website. Made it very straight forward. My first time trying to weld and had a bud teach me.

Replaced the front bumper cover, passenger headlight assembly and some assorted brackets. Also passenger side fender splash shield. All due to a deer strike early one morning back in the late spring.
The critter zigged when it should have zagged and I couldn't compensate quick enough.

Did a headlight restoration with the Sylvania kit and the results are outstanding in my opinion. They look like new. Mine were just a little cloudy, not yellowed, but looked like they would hinder headlight output, so took about hour and a half doing all the steps as per instructions and really happy.
