I took apart my interior as well. My 03 is in great mechanical shape but the interior was not taken care of. I took out seats, console, carpet, door panels, rear panels, and rear parcel shelf. Super easy to clean carpets out of car. I vacuumed and wiped down everything including floor board and inside the doors. I cleaned every part that came off the car. I had the dash apart for a noisy HVAC actuator and instrument cluster repair and cleaned as much as I could get to inside the dash. 20 years of grime and muck gone.

Spent the day looking for noises. 4R decided to start making a bunch of different noises at the same time. Serpentine belt started squeaking, brake pads started squeaking, one of those climate control motors started buzzing, and the most infuriating of them all, a random tapping noise behind the gauge cluster that i cannot find. :gun5: I hear it over the music and it's driving me insane. Maybe because it randomly dropped over 30 degrees in a couple days. :wtf:

It feels good to have it so clean, doesn't it? The rear interior panels are quite scratched up (I'm guessing from the dog) so I'm going to replace those. I plan on pulling the carpets in the spring to shampoo and pressure wash them when I can let them dry out. They aren't bad but I'm sure they can be better.

My configuration:
Like I mentioned in my original post, the light output is by far and away better than the Spec-D headlights. The Spec-D headlights were a good upgrade from the original headlights which were hazed over and overall had weak output. I also replaced the lamps that came with the Spec-D headlights with Osram Night Breaker Laser H1 lamps, so the output was decent, but the way the projectors worked, the lights were more like spotlights and didn't have much splash.

looks like the lights need to be re-aimed, at least adjust your horizontal, seems too far out. hope your doing the 3 inch drop for your vertical aim.

Looks good, now put some cam eliminators in in place of the cams and you're solid!
Yeah I've always entertained the idea of cam eliminators but could never find enough information about them to feel confident about doing them.

Upgraded/organized my accessory wiring to clean up the engine bay and get rid of the multiple harnesses going through the firewall. Went with the PowerTrays mount and Switch-Pros controller which made things easy.
Decided to go with a stealth placement of the panel in the overhead sunglass holder. Love this location as it's hidden when not being used, but also easily reached when needed. My friend and I created a mount out of ABS for the panel which came out pretty nice in my opinion.

Took out the huge clunker of a muffler this past weekend. Summit racing straight thru muffler with the stock resonator in front of it. Sounds good with no drone. We’ll see how long the summit muffler lasts haha

Thanks! The best part is other than the Summit Racing muffler and a 2 1/2 to 2 1/4 stainless adapter, I used all factory parts to install it.
Clunk be gone!
After what was probably 2 years, I finally found the source of my steering clunk. This annoying situation would happen on washboard type roads and was especially noticeable at low speeds when turning and going over driveways, speed bumps, or even a slight road seam- it felt like extra bump steer and a clunk in the steering rather than from suspension. Turns out it was a thread I knew for much longer but never considered as most of my applicable parts were new.

The steering sliding yoke was the issue. It took less than 3 minutes to fix- reach into the wheel well, loosen the 2 bolts, slide the yoke just a touch toward the upper shaft and torque it back down to spec (aka tight enough and then comment "this ain't going anywhere"). It was immediately obvious just how much it helped. I've been chasing steering wander and it has eliminated that as well. It drives like I got a fresh alignment now, and everything feels more connected on uneven terrain. If anyone can explain why this adjustment was needed/changed things so significantly, I'm very interested to understand this issue better.
