I am about to break 200k. I do all my service work and just did the timing belt job.

Once I break 200k, how do I go about getting into the club or getting that sticker?

A couple of notes from my email exchange with Toyota: they will send you a cling (it's actually not a decal but sticks like one) every time you pass a 100K milestone but not retroactively. So for example, when you hit 200K, they'll send you one for that but not for 100K. Then they'll send you a 300K when you hit that.

Their person is very nice. She told me of a guy in California who drives his 2006 Tundra 80-90K a year for work. She just sent him his 1,000,000 mile cling. :wow:

First oil change. Used 12V suction pump. Both my filter wrenches were too big so went to Autozone to a cup wrench. They recommended 76mm 14 flute which hand fit at the store but slipped when torque was applied. Used Channel Lock wrench to take filter off. Not ideal but WTH. I think the correct size for STP S3614XL filter is 74mm 14 flute which I have on order. We shall see.

I have been fighting some noise in between the blower assembly and the evaporator. Had initially been what sounded like the servo searching for a home position on the Face, defrost, feet servo. Friday it started making a loud buzzing noice and not getting to face only position. I pulled the glove box and confimred it was the HVAC Air Inlet Door Actuator that was buzzing.

So, today I pulled the HVAC Air Inlet Door Actuator (no mean feat as "the book" has you doing like 3 hours of disassembly - i chose shortcutting it and it worked without breaking anything). I disassembled the servo, cleaned it completely and reassembled. Now it works fine as the issue was the old dielective grease on the contact forks and the contact dial was gummed up and not making solid contact.

All fixed!

Good job. Actuators on the passenger side are not so easy to get at. My new to me 03 had a constantly running defrost actuator located in the drivers side and easy to get at.

Hey guys, got a new to me 05 sport. Buddy of mine brought it up from Arizona (rust free) and then got some front body damage in a small accident. I Picked it up for a song, and been spending some time getting it back on the road. Nice to have some extra cargo space again

I went from my old 5th gen, to the 1st gen Tacoma, and now that build has progressed to the point of not wanting to daily drive it. Enter the 4th gen now..

Replaced the bumper reinforcement cause the bottom brackets were bent so I could put on my new RCI skid plates before it started snowing!

Up on stands and running, only Left 2 wheels spin

Today, I started up the 2007 4runner V6 while on jackstands (the stands do not touch the wheels).

Regardless of what drive position it is in (2 wheel, 4 wheel, reverse, etc.) only the Left wheels spin.

The Right wheels do not spin and I cannot rotate the Right wheels by hand.

Never experienced any problems while on the road.

The only thing I did while up on jackstands is rotate the wheels (fronts to rear, rears to front)

Took a trip out to Sand Hollow and went along the West Rim Trail thru the Tollbooths. Took some damage on the front and rear due to an obstacle called "The Funnel" lol I want to build a high-clearance bumper instead, but this'll do for now.

I went with some friends who have side-by-sides and I could not keep up with them. Granted, I went for the rock crawling and they went to tear ass in the dunes.

Ah, that's a bummer. Looks like I can see some scraping on the front photo. Is it lower than stock or you're just looking for something higher clearance? I haven't scraped my stock bumper yet so if it's the same I think it might still work for me.

Kinda cool to see almost an exact clone of my truck. Almost b/c while I already have a silver SE with a Satoshi grill and that Toyota lettering (which is fairly uncommon):

[MENTION=592269]ieatfish[/MENTION] - I love the Lost Trails bumper b/c it looks like it could have been a factory option. It doesn't hang lower than the stock bumper. You can see my bumper has taken some punishment:

...so it could be an issue if you're rock crawling as [MENTION=712782]FoundedSine14[/MENTION] says, but that's not my thing and I expect this bumper to be fine anywhere I want to go.

Footnote for anyone considering PlastiDip - that's it on my front bumper and what you see is after 5+ years of on- and off-road use. Held up pretty well all things considered. You just have to follow the prep and applications instructions.

Bought 265/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT3s. Then, courtesy of a writeup by the venerable [MENTION=15785]J.A.[/MENTION] , moved my front fender liner & did some minor bumper trimming to eliminate rubbing.

Finally found the clip structure that attaches rear bumper to the right rear quarter panel. Bumper was lose and hanging a little. Easy job with satisfying results.
