What do you think of these LED taillights? (03+)

I'm really liking these taillights (silver).

I have an 04 4runner, but got the factory LED's that come with the later models. Now I'm wishing I'd bought these... I wanted to get a new exhaust, but thinking of getting the lights...or I could just get both

It's either that, or just tint the ones I got now...because they look sort of plain.

What do you think of them? Price is a little steep and I don't really know the quality...

Not my style....but i do sell these and have installed the lights on a few vehicles. The fit is great and we have not had a problem with them at all. Send me a PM and I'll see what kind of price and can get for you. Drop shipped if need be.

SR5XM, those are terrible. As I asked my buddy who has a 2001 Acura CL when Altezza lights was the trend. His reply, "Altezza lights shouldn't be on anything other than an Altezza/IS300. I'll rear end the CL if I see Altezza's on it."

I think they are hideious man, I like the 06-08 4Runner LED tails much better

I personally don't like those. What color is your 4runner. I would just smoke the ones you have now if it's a darker shade. Use the money that that was going for new tails on tint and get the exhaust forsure.

Any time I see aftermarket headlights or tail-lights, they look horrible. They are simply not designed to fit the aesthetics of the vehicle. If you put any aftermarket headlights or tail-lights on your car, I can guarantee you that it will look bad to you after a year or so.

Get tailights from a '06 or newer T4R. If you get those get the red ones. IMHO

Yeah, I got the '06 lights already, but IMO they are a little dull to look at. The color of the 4Runner is 8R3 (Pacific Blue). I might just put tints on them, dress them up a bit. I could always take it off if I don't like it at some point...

well, you're entitled to your opinion. but most of us knows that if we live by your mantra, then there'd be no steeda, saleen, mugen, roush, mazdaspeed, spoon, ect. they were not content with stock. they added bigger wheels, bigger brakes, super chargers, intercoolers and so forth. yes, you were talking about lights, but it runs in the same vein by modifying something that is stock.

i do draw the line when idiots slap a vtech decal to their celica and the such. anyway, the reason i say that is because i have an aftermarket tail light that is exactly like stock, but it doesn't have a pink hue, it's clear and has a gun metal paint where the chrome is to match the bumper trim and has a red light cover where it should be.

but to the poster, i agree with most here, those do look gaudy.
