i'd have to say BFG's or nitto all terrains.
what do you think the best looking tires are on a 3rd gen?

i do like the revos. i had them on my 2wd and it went through alot, better than my 4wd when its in 2wd with the BFG's i have now. i was thinking about getting those but i want a really agressive looking tire. where is a good website for the dynapros?

i called the firestone place and the only thing they had it in was a 10 ply and they were $1200. do they make them in something else? and do you know a price on them? and whats an inexpensive tire?

i heard they require more frequent rotating than a lot of other tires, did you experience that?

This is just a matter of opinion. I don't think there is one tire that looks better than any other.

Well if your going purely for an aggressive look I think the BFG and Nittos are good choices. I personally think the BFG's look more aggressive.

Of course mud terrains will look the most aggressive:

Mine is 4wd. I just got it a little over a year ago and it came with some Michelin LTX's. They are six years old and probably have a good bit of miles on them, but still handle very well from what I can tell.
I'm looking around at tires now in hopes that my parents will let me gets some new ones fairly soon. I'm try to evaluate looks vs performance vs price.
I'm leaning towards the Nittos right now. I've heard a few stories about the BFG A/T's being bad in the rain so that has slightly turned me away from them.
I'm planning on going with a 265/76/R16. I would love a 285, but don' t plan of lifting my 4runner, at least not any time soon.

dude you and i are in the exact same boat. i really want 285's but my parents won't let me lift my 4runner so i can't get them, and my budgets tight so i can't get exactly what i want, but i dont want to get the only thing i can afford (buckshots)... at least thats my dilemma, sounds like yours is similar.

I think these look good! They are more expensive than BFG All-Terrains but they have great reviews, higher than BFG.

I'd have to say that I love the look of mud terrains but for me personally they aren't very practical, and im sorry BFG AT's are way too over-rated. Goodyear Wrangler TD's 265/75/16. They only come in that size.

I LOVE the look of the sidewalls of the cooper tires......they are just badass any way you look at them, but you sacrifice a lot when going to a mud tire for a street runner.
