What happened with Inferno?

I have always wanted a bold colored vehicle. 4Runner just doesn't come in bold colors. The Salsa Red is borderline, but still not flashy.

Even though I do love my MGM, I'd like to see some brighter/bolder colors... not everyone wants bland.

I can't vouch for the Tacoma, but the Tundra is entirely assembled a little south of you in San Antonio, and 80% of the parts are American made. So I'm betting the paint work is done down there also.

I thought they were starting to build the tacomas there as well? They were hiring 2500-3000 employees to do so. They were being build in the Fremont CA plant that was a joint venture between GM and Toyota, but when GM backed out due to the bailout, Toyota backed out as well. That plant is now owned by Tesla Motors (Used to be the NUUMI plant)

My personal preference on car color is much like clothes, low key with a touch of accent color here or there but I don't go out looking like big bird.

Inferno is a standard color for the Tundra now and Tacoma. Not sure why Toyota didn't include the 4Runner.

I saw that the other day at a dealership. It was a Tundra, but wasn't a Pro.. I thought it looked more orange than inferno.

I just checked toyota and didn't see it a standard color.

I avoid Toyota's website like the plague lol! The dealership here in Boise has had a bunch of Tacomas and Tundras hit the lot in Inferno. So I'm guessing it's an option for the trucks now.

I liked Inferno when I first saw it and I still like it today. To my eyes Inferno + Black wheels is by far the coolest color combo for these trucks.

I have one... sort of. Mine is an actual Toyota FJ40. And I love it! But it is not a daily driver in any sense of the term. It's so practical that I take it out at least once or twice a year. I really need to get rid of it, or drop it back to some reasonable amount of lift and maybe 37" tires? I would love an FJ44 from ICON if a had an extra $200k laying around.

I soooooo wanted the red Trail, but it wasn't sold in Illinois in 2012 normally. I found one in the Quad Cities that a VIN check showed it came from state west of the Mississippi - but I just couldn't see how I had any bargaining leverage if the dealership knew I drove from Chicago just to buy it.

What is your theory? Granted I have never owned an Italian sports car or anything, but having people go nuts over your car every day is amazing.

I spent a couple of weeks in Italy this Fall. Every car was white. If you saw a car that was not white, it was a unique event.

Totally bizarre. They obviously need more inferno.
