What is the toggle switch for next to fuel filler door cable pull?

Hello, just purchased an 87 T4R SR5 and do not have an owner's manual. What is the toggle switch for that is mounted on the same plate as the fuel filler door cable pull under the left side of dash? Thanks,

I would say that it would be something the old owner installed if you can get us a picture we can tell for sure if it is aftermarket.

Curious, I guess then it's not the 007 seat ejection switch.

I thought I saw an additional wiring harness at the back bumper (besides the lighting harness) and am now wondering if this could possibly be for electric brakes? I'll get pics of both tomorrow.

a toggle swith would not control brakes, it would be a slide switch for brakes.
maybe it was a reverse light or something like that.

Baahhh, all wrong.

On the few vehicles that had the factory winch, a manual idle up cable mounted there.
Kind of like a manual choke cable of old.

wow i did not know that was a option.
but he said her traced the wire to the rear of the vehicle.

To correct a previous post I have not traced it back to the lights.

doesn't appear to be factory, no telling what it is/was.

yup it doesn't look factory just follow the wires and see were it leads.
Typical switch uses.
Auxiliary lighting.
nitrous
locker
if its a rocker switch it might be someones hack job on the rear window.

i rednecked my rear window and i have to use 2 switches and it was really confussing on how we did it. ran all new wire from battery to new window motor, if it is the rear window i want to know how they only did it with one toggle switch
