What is this piece called, part number, for retaining ring headlight adjustment

Hi, I was going to adjust my headlights and I noticed that these retaining rings that attach to the white gear for the headlight adjustment were broken.

I 3D printed some replacements but I was wondering if someone might know the original part number for a 2002 4Runner. I could not find it at all but it might be my lack of the correct keywords.

Unfortunately, I have done all that. I'm guessing it's a keyword issue. I spent several hours looking for it earlier and the dealership was no help either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not available separately, you have to get the whole "frame" (Toyota calls them housings).

Thank you. That's what I was afraid of. I'll make due with the 3D printed piece until it stops working. So far so good with it.

There is also a difference between the OEM and aftermarket adjusters. The aftermarket ones are much weaker and break more easily...

I mean the adjusters that come with headlight units that you buy aftermarket (Depo, etc.). Either way, the parts are not available separately.

You're better off sticking with the OEM "housings" anyway. I've had two or three aftermarket headlights and they all fit like crap; like you can see how warped the housings were before bolting down one of the lower mounting locations (must've been sourced by the same manufacturer because they were all warped this way) and the metal filler panel between the bumper and headlights never lined up as level as OEM. I ended up throwing out the aftermarket housings and reuse the stock ones to mount the aftermarket lights.

Not sure of the exact part number, but Toyota usually sells the entire adjuster assembly, not just the retaining ring.
Might be why it’s hard to find individually.
