What mountainbikes do you guys ride?

Raleigh M800, picked it up practically brand new for $200 from a guy who was too big for it, I think it's a $1,000+ bike

I love it, only bike I've ever had that fits me right, I'm short, 5'4".

2006 Specialized Enduro Expert. Most of it is custom, I built wheels for it, and slapped on some Race Face stuff, and changed it from SRAM to all Shimano. It is amazingly fast and nimble for a 30+ lb bike, but i am still thinking of building up a Santa Cruz like a Blur, or maybe a Specialized Stumpy FSR for a lighter trail bike.

I've got a Cannondale Jekyl 500. Would like to go back to a Trek sometime, but I don't know if I want to spend the money on a new bike or stuff for the 4Runner :shrug:

Also have had two Specialized Hard Rock Sports. First one was stolen while I lived in London (from the car park), second one was purchased and sold there, didn't want do deal with shipping home. Also have had an Orbea road bike... really missing that now.

I have had great success with both Thule and Yakima products. I have used the Yakima Spare Joe for man years on my Wranglers, and I currently use a Thule Archway on the 4Runner.

For hitch mount I rented a Thule Parkway 2 bike mount during a vacation, which worked great.

On my 98 I ran a Yakima w/ tall Q towers. Since the 4th gens have a different roof rack if you ran with Yakima you would need something like the lowrider towers to clamp onto you rack. I use them on my X and they hold up well.
I use a hitch receiver on my 4r by swagman. They are cheaper but get the job done. Well constructed as well. Mine are 48" in bars. You would probably need min 50"

I'm using a Yakima Holdup2 hitch receiver. I have the 2009 model with the pull pin to fold and drop the carrier.
