replacing the stock air intake with the afe stage 2 CAI and get the full benefits of it, do you need a calibrator or do anything else for it to NOT decrease MPG, etc?

I didn't do anything special after installing mine and it hasn't had any ill effects. Same thing when I had it in my FJ.

did your MPG stay the same or increase any?

It increased a bit with everything stock. On the FJ it went back to normal when I added more aggressive tires, etc....
