What's the max lift you can go before UCA are needed?

I've read the lift FAQ sticky but I can't get a feel for how tall I can go before I need aftermarket UCAs.

My total budget is $3,000 for the lift, tires, and alignment.

I'm torn between the Sonoran Steel 1.2 and the Toytec Boss Coilover.

I only spend about 5% of my time offroad and I don't need any crazy flexing system. Is the Sonoran Steel or Toytec Boss Coilover overkill?

The panhard drop brackets seems like a highly debated topic now. I read on Sonoran Steel that they do not recommend the brackets anymore. I'll also read to only install the axle mount and not to weld the right side frame mount. Where is the best place to buy the single mount?

Last but not least, if I get a bunch of responses to just go with the OME front and rear springs with the Tundra Bilstein struts with the 4runner mounting plates attached, who sells the tundra struts with the 4runner mounting plate already attached? What part number am I looking for and what perch level would I run for a 2-3" lift?

Which SS 1.2 kit? It comes with different options. Either way you can definitely run 2" to 2.25" (*probably another 0.5" more) of lift with the stock UCAs. The immediate UCA issues to be concerned about are the age and health of your factory UCAs. If you have a lot of miles then it isn't a bad idea to replace them anyway.
