Ive been getting 23-24's for the past couple months and debating a lift. I'm wondering how stupid I really am?

From 24 down to 18 (if I'm lucky). hum...

Here in Canada(not sure about the US) we have a mandatory etest every 2 years which checks your exhaust... by checking your NOX, co2, etc you can check how well your engine is running, or get an idea of what's wrong.

Lets not assume Onterible is all of Canada now shall we?

The prairies and western provinces do not have this requirement. In fact, the majority of Canada (via size regulations) do not have this requirement. I'm not sure about the eastern provinces.

I just got 21.6mpg this past weekend going to the beach and back. Had mostly back road 55-60mph driving. A little bit of in town around the beach driving. Not too bad in my book.

Why do you think you'd drop 6mpgs by putting on a lift? I put my lift on (2"), heavier E rated tires, and started driving a tad bit slower...keeping it under 2000RPM...and I actually gained close to 2mpgs the last 2 months.

Went to a conference in Vancouver WA last weekend and was able to gauge true highway mileage. 20.1MPG. Thats a week after new plugs/wires and a MAF/TB cleaning. All stock.

I get 16 city and 19 hwy (not Super Charged). Try cleaning the MAF to improve MPG, just an idea. I clean my MAF every two years.

I've been getting about 19 MPG average with tire change calculated in. That's mostly highway though. I have a 2.0/2.5" coil spacer lift and running LT285/75/R16 tires.

After I did my last oil change and ran Seafoam through the pvc valve I'm averaging around 19.5 at roughly 40/60 city/highway driving. I'd say thats pretty awesome with bigger than stock tires and a lift!

Just rocked 20.5 on my new Dynapros, one of which is wobbly, factoring in the slight adjustment due to tire size. Pretty happy.

00' limited. Street tires, toytec 3" lift up front. Lc 9 wraps 4" lift rear. Subs and roll bar weighing down the back. I get 14 on a good day. Mostly city. Never use AC.
