I think if I were in your position, I’d just try the Napa ones that AuSeeker mentioned a few posts back. Lifetime warranty means never having to buy them again if they fail, and the price is right. Seems like a great option for those not owning a press.

Thanks for the reply. sometimes you need another perspective on decisions. I think your idea is the best idea for me. its not hard to change them out. I have time and I get to keep my money. The only concern is the warranty is written so that they can choose to acknowledge a problem or not.

As your exclusive remedy, NAPA SOLUTIONS will replace free of charge any NAPA SOLUTIONS product that, in our reasonable determination,
does not comply with the foregoing warranty.

I'll bet that their "reasonable determination" might be in conflict with my own.

That’s a good catch, but honestly most warranties are constructed that way to cover them. It’s been my personal experience though, that good companies like Napa, Ace hardware, etc. will exchange stuff when it breaks prematurely with no questions asked. Sometimes for items such as batteries, they have to go by the date code and pro-rate based on “useage” of the product. Either way, I think it’s worth rolling the dice, since it would be way easier to walk into a brick and mortar store locally for exchange than to deal with a mail return, and the associated downtime. My $.02...

When you guys changed out the bearing/hub assembly, did you also install a new "Toyota Hub & Bearing Snap ring and O-Ring?" Those part numbers are 90520-41019 (Snap ring) and 90301-83002 (O-ring) according to the Boch Toyota's website...
