Wheel input 17x8.5 +25 offset

Does anyone know if 17x8.5 wheels with a +25 offset will fit a stock 4runner. I got a deal from a friend for a set of machined colour kmc hatchet which he had on a newer tacoma. I know the stock wheels are 16x7 +15 but will the extra width of the wheel make the stance look perfect or would it stick in. Im pretty confused. Any input please

It will basically fit the same as it did on the Tacoma. Yes, even newer ones.
