WHEEL SPACERS? any one?

Thanx man :D
I ended up with the 1.5"
When i took it to get installed i stopped at a discount tire shop and they refused to install them, they always mistake them for the old style spacers that go behind your wheel and use your lugs length, so i took it to a local muffler shop, the reason why i took it to a shop is because i wanted it to be "air wrench tight" i saw them install it and they look pretty safe to me but like lots of people say you're taking a risk of an extra part to fail!
I'm going to re tighten them after 100 miles or 200 like it says on the instructions.

Well that is where we differ. Air Wrench Tight is not what you want. You are risking lug failure. You could be easily over 150#s torque. Personally I installed the spacers myself taking the time to use red threadlocker on the studs and to torque precisly via a star pattern first to 40# then to 60# then to the final 83lbs.

Overtorquing and/or uneven torque will cause warped rotors, over stretched lugs, etc. I'd be more worried about that that having them super tight.

And regarding the local mechanics thoughts, I agree that they are probably thinking about the old school spacers that dont have their own lugs pre pressed in but rather use the factory lugs. For liability reasons you cannot blame them for not wanting to touch them, I mean how much could they be charging for the install $50...not worth the time.

Lastly, without having the hub centric type, are you noticing any shimmy, vibration or out of balance type issues?

Yes there is a slight slight vibration between 50 to 55 MPH i think after taking the wheels off you have to rebalance if i am not wrong?
I will wait until i get the lift parts then ill do everything, recheck their torque like you said, balance, and a wheel alignment.

No you dont rebalance every time you remove the wheels or even if you rotate. What you are noticing is a side effect of either overtorquing or the lug centric spacers.

Agreed. This is why people running spacers feel vibrations at hwy speeds.

The max i drove it is 70mph i felt the vibration on the steering wheel @50 to 55 And it was hardly noticeable.
Could the cause also be from over torquing other than there lug centric?
