Wheel spacers - Is there a difference in manufacturers?

I like the new tires but they look a little sucked in. So I am looking to get some 1.5" wheel spacers. I saw there is a big difference in price so I'm wondering is there any difference in the quality or???

G2, Marllin and Spidertrax are tried and true. I know Spidertrax are hubcentric not sure about those amazon spacers. for me paying a little less that $100 more for an item that holds a wheel on the vehicle isnt even a question

G2 says: pre-1995.5 TOYOTA P/U and 4Runner
 
I just picked up G2 1.25" spacers and love the way the look, but I have a steering wheel wobble now. I pulled them off, made sure everything was sitting flush and clean, re-torqued everything done and still have the wobble!:wtf:
Anyone have any suggestions?
 
absolutely there is. companies like spidertrax are using 6061-T6 billets of aluminum, with american made grade 8 press in studs and lugs, and double anodized to resist corrosion. thats where you're getting your price difference. get a spacer that is quality that you can trust. I've been running spidertrax spacers or similarly made spacers on literally all of my prior vehicles. my 2006 Jeep TJ, my 2010 F150 super crew, my 2012 Jeep JKUR, and now my 2010 4runner. i think i have probably a combined 250,000 miles of driving with spacers on

make sure you buy the correct year spacer, as they're machined differently for when Toyota changed the type of lug nut they use
 
I'm not sure if there's a 1.5" spacer for 5th gens, seem to recall that 1.25" was the most available when I was looking. You also realize that pushing your tires out is going to mean you might get some rubbing that will need to be taken care of with fender liner modification or possibly a body mount chop...
 
I just transfered my Allpro 1.25 spacers from my tacoma. Been on since new, 30,000 miles on trade in, 400 miles on 4runner so far NO problems

Pull them back off again and get a dial indicator or micrometer and check inside and outside thickness. I had a pair of 10mm spacers once not cut true and measured between 7 and 11 mm not flat at all
 
I ended up taking my SpiderTrax off due to rubbing body mounts with 285's. Wondering if anyone is running .75 spacers and 285's without rubbing. Stance needs a little help for sure. Not ready to chop the body mounts.

Pulled them off and your right, two of the four are not true. Runner has zero wobble with them off. Probably going to just go with new wheels unless spidertrax can guarantee I will not have a wobble. It sucks cause I love the stock wheels...
 
I installed the G2's this weekend. I also have the wobble for my 2015 4runner limited. 4wheel parts is going to let me return them and will replace them with the SPIDERTRAX set. He said Tundra's and other vehicles with heavier tires are better for the G2's but the tacoma'4runner needs the spidertrax. good thing I didn't pay to have them installed. bad thing is I wasted my time Saturday..
 
I would not buy a wheel spacer that was not hubcentric and from a known good supplier like Spidertraxx or Motorsports-Tech/Bora. Too much at risk, too many things to go wrong with poor manufacturing tolerances. Just not worth saving pennies on.
 
SpiderTrax is pretty known for having the highest quality wheel spacers. We have sold them for years with great results!

Update: Took the G2's back for the spidertrax. They wobbled too and there was the rubbing when turning. Running stock 20"s with stock tires. I returned the spidertrax and am back to my narrow foot print. Figure I'll buy fatter tires when these run out.
 
I've been running my spidertraxx for about 20k now and no issues. I even got bigger wheels and tires for the last 5k and no wobble at all
