Wheeler's Offroad T1 Coil Springs

Hey Guys,

So I've been looking around the forums and found one or two members running this Front suspension lift set up. It's the Wheeler's Offroad T1 Front Coil Springs. It looks similar to the Toytec coil springs and is made by Eibach, but just a 0.5" less lift. Wheeler's says that they are compatible with the Front Adjustable Bilstein 5100s as well.

I've reached out to a couple of the members about their experiences and reviews of them and all have been positive. I wanted to see if anyone else on the forums has run this set up as well. I'm interested to see how the ride feels after the lift? Also, how much settling can you expect on the front and what were the post lift measurements?

Thanks for the help!

Rides a bit firmer than stock.. closer to 2-2.25" lift on a non-3rd row 2015 TE. Matches well with the 5160 rears in terms of ride feel

Thanks borfoo3 . I was also looking at the rear coil springs to match with the front coils. I'll definitely keep those in mind. I was mainly looking for info on the front coils springs.

I'm sitting at Firestone getting mine aligned right now. Installed T1 coils on Old Man Emu shocks on the front and OME 895E coils in the rear last night. Here's a pic from about 2:30 this morning.

Well I clearly fail at mobile Flickr, so I'll have to update this later.

No UCAs yet. I've never had to use them before. Castor is obviously out of spec, but I'm going to see how it handles before upgrading.

I've only got 20 or so miles on the suspension so far, but initial impressions are favorable. The ride is very firm. I think some people would call it "sporty." The Wheeler's/Eibach springs have a 620lb rating, IIRC. The OME rear springs I believe are 590lb rated. Definitely eliminated the nose dive so many people complain about. Some people might not like the ride. Some might love it. I guess it depends what you're used to. If you're accustomed for a 1974 Oldmobile Delta 88, this probably isn't the suspension for you. If you've driven trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs all your life, you'll probably be right at home.

I have pre measurements. I haven't taken any initial post measurements, yet. I'm going to give it a little bit to let the suspension settle. The increased height is definitely noticeable getting in and out. :D

In the mean time, here are some before/after pics.

Looks good! I like that some of the rake is still there. Keep us posted with how things go after the settling.
