When do 2012's come out?

Edmunds Insideline confirms:
"Now in its third year since the 2010 overhaul, the 4Runner only gets a few small changes for 2012.

Toyota upgraded the SR5 and Trail grade models with standard Sirius radio, Bluetooth and a USB port with iPod connectivity.

Limited models get Toyota's new Entune mobile technology interface as standard equipment with a JBL audio-navigation system an option. The Entune setup is optional on the SR5 and Trail models.

And last, and most certainly least, SR5 and Limited trim 4Runners will be available with power-retractable running boards."

The Trail already has Sirius, Bluetooth and USB port standard. So, no actual changes reported for it.

Power retractable running boards....hmmm....I'm not sure about that.

Probably isn't any worse than the regular Limited/SR5 w/ running boards.

The 2011 Ford F-150 Platinum I had in the spring came with retractable steps.

I thought they were silly at first, but came to like them because they provided a good step area — plus retracted higher than the regular tube steps. I did call them 'old man steps' but even the kids found them useful.

I agree, it's another thing to break and wouldn't ever order them, but they may not be as totally useless as they first appear. They also seemed to collect a lot of dirt.

Hmm...I was searching for prices and I noticed all the dealers WEB sites eliminated the price tag. Now it shows "Call Us".

Basically I saved some web sites last night where I saw the prices and today they are all gone.

Nothing official yet, but you can bet you'll read it here first when Toyota reveals if any changes beyond Entune and power running boards.

Toyota is still fine tuning the 4.6L V8 and 6spd from the Tundra to work in the 2012 4R before letting the world know.....

As long as you know what you're getting into a V8 option is great. My co-worker spent a bundle on a really nice Tundra but when he had to spend $200 on gas in the first week he's decided to drive his Camry to work

I'm curious about this as well. I'd definitely do a retrofit if possible.
