When was your t4r manufactured?

Just asking because mine says "7/07" on the door jam and the title/registration also says its an 07. I thought that if it was made in late 07 it would be considered an 08 like most of my yotas and other makes prior to the t4r. So whats your build date compared to your assigned year model? Thanks

That may be the general rule but I'm sure there are exceptions. Some years there may be more or less demand for the 4runner and they adjust their production accordingly.

My T4R says 07/2007 on the door jam and it is an '08. I bought it brand new in Jan of 2009 (one of the last '08s on the lot). That being said I have a 2007 Tundra made in 08/2007 (according to the door jam), so it is technically newer, but is a model year older. Go figure.

12/08 and it is an '09 Trail Edition--purchased in 3/09.

I'll have to look - took the bike to work today.

Got it in Oct of 03 - it's an 04 so I would guess some time in late summer or early fall of 03.

I do remember looking up where in Japan it was made. Someone had links to pix of the factory. Cook in a geek kind of way.

11/06 - 2007 SE...Bought it 11/30/06. I test drove it with 3 mi and drove it off the lot with 13 mi.

2008 model built 08/2007. The dollar was catching about 128 yen at the time, but now it is only worth 83 yen.
