When will the Bilstein 6112 be released?

Im not wanting to spend 160 on extra set up strut mounts but not having to get a spring compressor to transfer them out may be worth it. I may try the Moog or KYB strut mount kits.

Im guessing this is the XREAS. I'll have to do a little search on how do remove this for the bilstein install. Hoping its pretty straight forward.

Sounds like I was one of the lucky ones to receive the 6112's about a week ago. Just finished the install on an otherwise stock 2015 KDSS suspension. Thought I better share my results. Using the 0.5" average lift circlip grove setting, I measured a change of +1.75 inches in ride height. Drove it a bit to see if it would settle, but no change. A little more height than I wanted, but looks pretty much level. Helped a little to relieve the annoying nose dive under braking, but really softens up the bumps nicely, not that it wasn't already pretty smooth from the factory. I'm curious to see what other people get for ride height change.

Looks beefy So you got 1.75 lift from the lowest setting? Those grooves are 0.5 increments right? Did you do the install yourself? Post of pics from the side.

How close is the strut to the CV axle? Looks like its touching the strut from that angle..

Interesting, I wonder what the lift would be like at the 4th (2" avg) setting if the 1st setting gave you 1.75"?
My goal is to get a ~2" lift. I would hate to go through the trial and error process.

I used the second lowest setting, the second groove up from the bottom. It's the groove that the Bilstein instructions call their "0.5" AVERAGE LIFT". The grooves are about 10mm apart. Did the install myself, but used a local 4x4 shop to compress/remove the factory spring hats and reinstall on the 6112's. The change in ride height is about 1.75" average between the two sides.

The CV axle is about one inch away from the strut.

if you're just looking at the wheel well gap, it looks even, but i see what you mean about looking nose high. Looking at the roof line or side skirt, it does look like it tilts up towards the nose.

Its probably something the most people won't even notice and when you're sitting in it with a passenger, i bet its dead even.

yeah, i'd like to know was well. I was planning on putting it at the top notch to get the 2.5" but maybe not hearing this.

In the same boat... with the 5100s on the Wife's previous FJ, top notch, 1.5" spacer in the rear, stock springs all around was a perfect 2.5" front, 1.5" rear lift. Exactly what I want for the Wife's new 4runner. I'd prefer not to play "guess a lift" myself. Esp when there are published, advertised settings.

We need to get some information on the lift on level ground (preferably where the suspension is being changed) before the install and after the install per said groove.

Need data for KDSS and Non-KDSS Install data

I am in the same boat, wanting to lift about 1.75 to 2.0" in the front.
According to the Paperwork included in the 6112 Kit, the 4th circlip groove puts the lift at 2.0"

I don't need to install more than once as Zeus said!

Shawn Casad at Bilstein told me they were 600# Eibachs made for them.
