Where can I get a Trail hood?

Agreed. Reflection can be a pain. Me, I dig bugs and the hood splatter is sometimes better than Christmas (yes, I'm easy to shop for).

I had a body shop buy a trail hood and paint and install on my SR5 cost something between 1200 and 1300 total for everything.

No offense taken, its simply not true however that TE owners gripe about their hoods. One here or there? I guess. In general? Not at all.

You might need to add on all the various parts for the actual scoop too...that price might just be for the bare sheet metal hood with the scoop cut out.

Has to be a 10-13 only. The limited will have the hood liner on it, so that may be something to look for.

old thread, i know. But I'm planning to swap out the hood on my '12 TE (classic sliver). the mrs has convinced me that the look of harper7's truck is the way to go. So, I'll have TE hood, running boards and roof rack in Virginia Beach if anyone is interested.

Any considerations other than color match (fading,etc)? I assume the limited or sr5 in classic silver will be plug and play. can it be swapped with a '14-15 or am I looking fr 10-13 only? mine still looks new, as truck only has 33k on it.

I PM'd you about the feasibility of this. I've got a 2010 Limited in Classic Silver.
