Where is your ARB Compressor Mounted?

I don't own a compressor yet, but I plan on getting the arb single compressor. One I like the cost savings and 2 I think its more than enough compressor for the amount I will need it.

Check out the powertrays mount for the arb single, switch pros, blue sea negative buss, blue sea fuse panel. This will house all my electrical distribution and compressor and leave other areas free for a second battery and DC/DC charger.

I got this and the quality is amazing. I picked up all the blue sea parts and am waiting till after the holidays to pick up the compressor and switch pros.

Put mine in the rear. I'll be selling my one off mount soon as I need to make a new one for my new project.

For those who mounted in the engine bay, is anyone having corrosion issues on the compressor?

I am nervous about mounting a compressor where it is exposed to the salty goodness that gets poured and sprayed all over our MN roads.

Made a bracket from bits and pieces from Home Depot. Never has any issues with it in this location. I'm going with the Slee or Bandi mount next since my 2nd battery will go in this existing spot.

How is the board and the electronic of the switch-pro handling the vibration of the compressor?
I am guessing that a bit of blue loctite may help in keeping the blue sea connectors in place.
I do not have my compressor yet but think that this generate a fair amount of vibrations.

Here’s mine mounted with the Slee mount. Notice the sPOD. I just plug and play when adding new accessories.

Has anyone used a 4*4 Labs mount?
This Guy
I saw it mentioned in another thread but I dont see pic of it being mounted.
The big reason I wanted to go with the 4*4Labs mount vs the SLEE is the 4*4Labs is that it mounts on the passenger side vs driver side. I want to keep the driver side open for the switch pro mount.

I just installed mine, single arb, but had to drill new holes.

I've got mine in the passenger side hole in the engine compartment, along with a 1 liter cooling bottle to keep the hose from melting from the compression heat. The compressor is wired into my SwitchPro 9100 with a relay. I've heard of cases where, due to a second battery taking that space, folks have mounted the compressor between the radiator and the front grill, off to one side; though the ARB Twin is sealed, that sounds like a bit of a wet place to mount it.

Is a mount required for the install under the hood? I have mine on the way and the mounts when shipped to Canada are pretty expensive. Can I use the supplied mount in a good location under hood securely? Thanks!

I just mounted mine on Friday. I fabbed up a simple mount with a few pieces of steel from the hardware store. I spent about $40 total. These are the only pictures I got of it.
