Where you guys sitting at mileage wise?

I'm just under 164K...drive it every day and all over. Put 8K since I bought it on Oct. 1st!

1999 with 185k on it. Basically original everything. Little done in the way of maintenance. Spark plugs haven't been changed since at least 90,000 miles. (very badly needs a tune-up) Mpg's show that, but it is still going good.

Original owner bought the truck in Oct. '98 and I took over in 6 years later with 96k on the odo and now have 170k miles. The only things that needed attention outside nor mal maintenance was a blown coil pack @155k and a small leak between the tranny and engine otherwise this truck has been the most solid vehicle I've ever owned and it's been holding up to my hard driving and at least 10 off road excursions every year.

ok, what's the story here?

I got ripped of by a local engine "rebuilder" (enginehaus) here in wa on my last engine. I got tired of trying to rebuild a POS so I bought a used one from a junkyard with 88k on it and my truck has never ran so good.

Besides that minor setback Ive only had rear axle seals go on me.

Their warehouse is huge! I got to check out all the 1kzte front cuts and 1uz's. A bit expensive but I got to pick my engine from like 10 or so 5vz's and its been worth it so far.

98 4runner has 136,900 on it and is running great, but is the one I've decided to sell. I just posted it on the local craigslist, and here in the classifieds.

Slowly working on getting all maintenance done. Just had water pump/timing belt done, ac/power steering/alternator belts, thermostat/seal, lower radiator hose, and an oil/oil filter change all done. Still needs windshield, valve cover gasket, transmission hoses, tranny flush, alignment, brake rotors, etc. All basic maintenance. No major issues, all original.
