Which perch? Searched: Tundra 5100's+99 talls

99 Limited bought about a year ago with a Rough Country lift front and rear
It works ok, but not ideal. So I bought Tundra 5100's for the front, with the intention of pairing them with the yy/yb. Money keeps getting in the way, so for the time being I want to keep my 99 talls and install the Bilsteins

I currently measure 23in hub to flare. All my searching is pointing me at 4th or5th perch. Id like to get it at somewhere in the 22-23 range. Im having trouble finding a definitive answer.

I have never heard of anyone putting 3rd Gen T4R or even 1st Gen Taco coils on Tundra 5100s.

3rd perch should get you around 22.5-23

You really dont want to go any higher than the 3rd perch without causing other problems. Those tundra coils are stiff, going up any higher your going to break shit and have an even shittier ride then your current setup IMO.

I have heard you want to run 'lowest' for stock height...

IMO, cause you have a lift in the rear, you're 'guessing' where is 'should' be at. I'd take out the current setup, measure it when on the ground, then take your 99 tall coils and install them, getting that same measurement when laid on the ground, this will get you 'close', you'll have to install to see how it turned out, it' might be different.

I would start at the second and go to the 3rd if needed.

I'm at the 5th perch and getting 23.75". I would try 3rd or 4th.

Thanks for the replies. Id like to try them. Obviously, it means I don't have to buy new springs, but I want to get this right the first time.
Has anyone ever seen 99 talls next to TRD's? Other options are OME 891's or toytec/eibachs. But I don't have plans for winch or bumper either. Skids and armor yes.
