My only regret on my 4runner is not getting my Limited in white with black leather. Ah , this one will be paid off next year in time for the mid gen refresh so who knows if they can entice me!!!

Here is a link to the parts needed but no need for the front bumper parts as it would be easier to just get a Shrockworks bumper that has been powdercoated or painted Blizzard Pearl!!!

Is there any advantage to swapping out the the Limited parts with TE parts? Don't you acheive the same thing by just removing the front valance and side skirts? And maybe swapping wheels and tires to 17"+BFG AT KO's? Isn't the TE just a marketing/image gimmick?

I personally like the style of the TE better.Gives it a leaner ,meaner look IMO.Yes you could remove some plastic parts to gain the same TE approach and departure angles as the plastic on SR5/Limited hangs down 3-4 inches more then a TE in some places. Lots have done it.

Can't really see the need for it with ATRAC. Had a RL on my 3rd gen. and rarely ever used it. I'd rather have the Torsen.

I got an SR-5. But the TE's rear locker, MTSC, and KDSS are no gimmicks. And the flimsy "ground effects" on the SR-5/ limited make recovery points inaccessible.....that makes a lot of sense. :ybrick:

I'm having big-time buyers remorse myself.

harper are thos prices listed shipped already? i'm trying to save funds for this swap. it seems and looks pretty hard but I think its well worth it. how long did it take for the parts to come in?

Those prices are looked up from toyotapartsales.com ,which is Toyota of Dallas's website,at the time I made the post. They went up since then I'm sure and no that doesn't include taxes if in TX or shipping if out of state.

I had my parts thrown in as part of my initial deal from the dealer. Took a long time!

Oh for some reason I thought it was a special site. So I can go to my local Toyota dealer and hand them the parts list.
