Remove running boards
265/75/16 General Grabber AT2
Tundra 231mm brake upgrade
Bud Built belly skid
Elocked rear axle 4.30 gears with a 100 series LC diff lock dial and Slee elocker controller

Till I pick the vehicle up on Monday (going though detailing right now). I posted a photo of the same year 4runner and color that I purchased.

Well, not as neat now. The $$ I had saved up is now going to paying the car off completely since there was a hicup with the loan. In the long run it's probable better.

Yeah, I'd rather be stock for a little while than have payments :trophy:
 
Well, i's official I own the vehicle out right now. So no payments. :banana::bluejump:


Lift and tires will have to wait a little while longer.
 
Updated as of 1/2/12

Running boards removed
Bud built front skid installed
Had the P0420 error code pop up on me so the rear O2 sensor got replaced and I cleared the code. Fingers crossed that it doesn't come back.

After crawling around the underside of it for the past 2 days I haven't been able to spot any rust and the underside shows to signs of it ever being offroad.
 
Small update - more less parts waiting to be installed :nerd:

Cobra 75 WX ST cb
Wilson Little Wil magnet mount antenna
Rear diff breather extension
Stubbs Welding HD-SKO sliders
A/C control module is out being repaired, fingers crossed
Replacement b-pillar panels
Tundra brake upgrade (231mm, just got in the last few parts I need for it)
Suspension lift ordered - if anyone knows what I've had on my last (2) 4runners you know with what I company I went with :fro:
 
Got the climate control unit back today and I'm happy to say that it is working fine now and no longer has a mind of it's own.
 
I dont think ive ever seen a pure white 4runner quite like that. Every white one Ive seen either had gray bumpers and flares, or black sport flares, or chrome bumpers. That thing looks awesome! i love it

I take it back.Grrrrrrrr!

Two new issues have pop up with this dang unit.

1. All the buttons function now but at times when you adjust the temperature or the fan/blower speed it does the opposite of what you want.
2. The blower/fan no longer works. It was working before I sent the unit off to be repaired but now it doesn't work.

Any ideas?
 
Get a new one from a junkyard. Ive also heard of the temp sensing unit on the limiteds failing and causing problems.
