Last winters fun: Pulled a brand new Jeep Rubicon thru 3 feet of snow for 3.5 miles. Jeep had a locked up rear axle and broken pinion. Was a pleasure to skid him off the mountain to the tow truck. Now wife won't let me sell it for a new Tundra. Oh well!

Just purchased my 4R today.

Live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Spent the last 7 ytears in Chicago, Before that it Was Denver, Colorado.

Purchased my '07 end of May.

Shadow Mica, moon roof, 17" wheels, spoiler, assorted extra goodies.

This is the Second SUV I've owned, and easily one of the best i've ever had the pleasure to drive.

Done plenty of 4wheeling in my Old Jeep Cherokee (which I beat into submission), and various other vehicles. I've never driven a vehicle that performed so capably offroad, even stock, and still had all the refinements, and comfort that the 4runner offers along with awesome on road performance.

I just hope to god Toyota doesn't turn the 4runner into a soccer mom mobile. I will definately buy another one once my loan is payed off on this one if they don't.

Hello

Newbie here hailing from San Diego.

I am looking at buying a used 4Runner and came here for advice / info. This seems like the place.

I owned a Landcruiser for many years and worshipped that car. We went to some hellish places together. So I have a lot of respect for Toyotas' offroad ability and want another. LCs are too expensive and/or to lame on mileage, so alas, the little brother gets a turn.

I look forward to chatting with you all.
