•Now shave the emblem on the door & it'll look like a Sport.

All Canadian 4Runners are 4WD, that is why we do not have 4WD badge on the side - they are all 4WD. :

Hey all!!

Been lurking a while and figured that I should register, I'm a 30ish male from London Ontario and I've had my 03 4Runner for 3 months now and I've never been happier.

Please disregard the dealership where I purchased as none of the Toyota dealerships in my town deemed it was necessary to give me the time of day

Hi,

Just joining the forum. Picked up my 03 V8 SE 4x4 when I was living in Texas. Haven't really modded it much yet, just some tires, put Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/65/17s on. Still a daily driver for cold/bad weather, will probably start doing more this summer when I can take the bike and save on gas!

These are some pics from a trip to Red River Gorge in Kentucky, nothing extreme since it is a DD and the most expensive thing I've owned other than school debt. Did get it stuck though, a couple of times. Thankfully took off the running boards, would have lost them early on.

we have the same problem here, if you ask a question about a Toyota at a dealership they treat you as though you are not worthry of buying one.
Very frustrating.

Hmmm, all three local dealerships were very attentive when I walked in. I preferred dealing with the internet sales guys though; they weren't quite as slimy.

Dealt with floor-sales people at Elmore and Huntington Beach, and Internet sales people at Elmore and South Coast.

Don't get me wrong; by "slimy" I just mean that they had all the usual sales schtick going on - always having something in common with you; moving from car to car; constantly talking... I was more comfortable dealing with the internet guys - even when face to face. Ryan over at Elmore was the most laid back, and helpful almost to a fault; if he could've given me the deal that Micheal at South Coast offered me, I would've gone back to him, but he didn't have the car I wanted (SR5, V8, 4x4, no moonroof).

My dad has an 88 4runner with the 22re, and 31/10.50 M/T tires. It has 237,000 miles and runs great. It is our fishing vehicle.

Just bought this rig last weekend. It's a '94 4Runner SR5 4WD with 125K.

It runs great and I picked it up for a great price! It's very rare to get a vehicle like this w/o ANY rust up here in Minnesota. I have received quite a few compliments on the great condition its in.

I am trying to figure out what modifications to do because it really doesn't have any besides the CD player I put in it. I am in college so money is tight. Any suggestions for modifications that aren't too spendy? I don't plan on doing any off roading.

Rep'ping my rig, and I so love her very much! Kinda dumb, but the first mod was the custom made hitch cover. 2nd was the True Flow air filter, no pics, you'll just have to believe me. 3rd was the light bulbs. Next is the bug guard after the dealership completes the detail they promised me. Not sure what's next...more than likely sometime this year more aggressive tires if I can figure out what I can safely put on those 18" rims. May have to do a lift. And I definately want darker tint! T4R.org and horse decals to come. Anyway, may I present my Ruffian!! And a token shot of her namesake.
