Hey its my twin but a trail!
Yea $50k, not going to happen.
Don't judge! -
Like my Dad taught me a long time ago... something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay.
What was judgemental about my statement?
I really don't understand why someone would take the time to customize a rig to turn around and sell it. Unless it's a custom shop.
I have spent countless hours, reading up and fine picking products, it would be such a waste to sell it after that, unless I was doubling my money.
I totally agree with that statement.
A good example of that is LE wheels, I have seen them sell anywhere from $500 to $1200. If you take your time as a buyer or a seller, you will get what you want for the sale price you want.
I don't understand people getting upset over someone selling an item at a high price, if you dont like it, don't buy itI am %110 sure that person isn't aiming to offend anyone lol.
I see it happen on craigslist all the time, people getting offended because of a low offer or someone posting a listing at a high offer. IT'S JUST BUSINESS!!
End rant
He's selling that red thing in the pics too... 2011 GMC Sierra 2500.......For...

People are crazy when they think they will get dollar-for-dollar for all their mods. Guy would be much better off taking all that stuff off and selling it on here, then selling the stock truck.
Ya the current market may make it a bit more difficult for him to sell, but people have wasted much more money on much more foolish things!
The best thing about a somewhat "free market economy" is that the economy will decide how much that is worth. If there is a buyer then so be it, if no one is interested and he wants to sell, he will have to lower the price until someone is interested. Price elasticity of demand - the measure of how the demand is effected by the change of price.... wow.... grad school is coming back to me.... scary. HAHA
QFT!
It blows my mind when people bring a modded car to a dealership, and are upset when they are offered either on or below market value.
They don't realize that mods reduce the trade in value.
Key word there is dealership.... They're a rip off even if you have a completely cherry clean, bone stock, never in an accident, un-modded, super clean vehicle.... I feel like people like to use some creative psychology there when they go to buy a used car from someone who has modded it and use it as a bargaining chip to get some more money off. "Well.... I dunno.... you have turned a few nuts and bolts on it and ran some wires... and I don't know how well it was done or how the vehicle has been treated so I would like to offer you even less money" when in reality, the buyer probably would love to have those mods. Bottom line.... if you want a modded vehicle but don't wanna save the time and money by buying one that someone else did, then by all means spend the time and money yourself.
Not sayin its a good or bad situation, it just is. Not sayin we should all jump into the bidness of modding rigs and trying to sell them for a profit because we all know that wouldn't work out. All I'm saying, is every so often, with the right advertising, in the right economy, with the right witches brew and virgin sacrifice, people have been known to get top dollar for these modded vehicles, myself being one such fellow.
Cheers all.... It has been a long day. Time for a frosty brew after work!
Heh, we can get those Scepter cans at lots of places up here. Unfortunately none of the shops that carry them will ship them outside of Canada. It looks like a Scepter which are near impossible to find any more so I too would hang on to it.
I think I saw whoever bought that in Ridgeway a few weeks ago. Fully decked out 200 series (only modified 200 series I have ever seen) with CO plates, and was waving and pointing as we passed each other.A little while ago there was an awesome 200 series LC right by my house at a dealership and it was completely modded out: OME lift, roof rack, front and rear(with swing out) ARB's, slides and a dual battery setup, lights etc.
Hey, ol buddy ol pal.Heh, we can get those Scepter cans at lots of places up here. Unfortunately none of the shops that carry them will ship them outside of Canada.
