Let me answer your question:
1. Most like the "look" of the front end on the TRD PRO and want the grill and fascia. I like it but not enough to mod mine.
2. Many like the sunroof (TRD PRO delete)
3. Many like different interior and exterior colors not offered with TRD PRO
4. Many like dual zone HVAC not offered with TRD PRO
5. Many like full time 4WD not offered with TRD PRO
6. Many like 3rd row seating not offered with TRD PRO
7. Many like not paying 2X cost for TRD PRO suspension
8. Many like KDSS which is not offered with TRD PRO
9. No additional residual value than other 4Runner models (all will be worth 70% of list after three years)
10. It's easy to make a TRD PRO from the parts bin. You can't make a TE with KDSS and sunroof nor can you make a LE from the parts bin.

42K for a TRDP? Yeah, maybe in Iowa. Here in Chicago, they are asking 44-45K for 2015 models with mileage. I paid 37K for my new 2016 TEP. That's a pretty sizeable dollar difference that can pay for a lot of mods.

Not at all, just pointing out that you are full of shit. I bought an Sr5 over the Pro because I prefer vaginas over D1ck. Lord knows the Pro is a c0ck magnet. Especially the driver's seat

I have to admit, last night I had a little too much to drink. Fell asleep laughing for starting this discussion thinking I can get away with it... dreamt I had all the answers and hailed the hero.
Woke up realizing what I've done and reading everyones repsonses.
I gladly accept the "worst thread award of 2016" even though there are still 11 months for others to come up with worse ones.

Don't know why all the Pro hate, Its a cool, capable off-roader right off the showroom floor. Yes, TRDP buyers are paying a premium for the pieces that make the vehicle unique, but you're going to see a premium price when its time to sell. I think sometimes its difficult to get the cost of a mod(s) back out of a vehicle when it comes time to move it.

How is this a question? How many examples on this forum have you seen where someone bought every piece of a Pro and added it to another trim? Not many, if any at all. Sure some of us buy the "TOYOTA" garnish, maybe others go further and get the skid and shift knob and fewer still wheels, valence and badges but then you still have the major differences as [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] pointed out for options not available on the Pro.
