I have a 99 limited runner. I'm new to this forum and not a fabulous mechanic but can do most things. My back window will no longer roll up/down. It's not a fuse I have already checked that. It acts like it's not getting enough power or the motor is dying. How can I narrow down the problem without having to tear apart the back hatch. If that is needed how do I get the panel off? Thanks

not meaning to insult you at all, but make sure your window lock button isn't on! I ran into this situation a few years back, and freaked out, then looked on the forum and someone also suggested this and ha it solved my problems. I'm sure you checked, but just incase!

I have to admit to getting fooled by this one as well. :doh:
I was mad as hell when I thought my rear window was jacked, because I use it all the time. Then when I went out to drive it the next time I hit the button on the fob out of habit and it went right down. That's when it hit me.
did this the other day. Felt like an idiot. Locked it to keep my boys from messing with the windows and sure enough. checked every fuse.:frusty:
