widen my stance

I'm running 285/70/17 on 17x9 Procomp rims and want to get some spidertrax spacers. My 4runner has a 3inch lift. I wanted some 1.5" spacers but am worried it might rub...? Anybody with this setup or know if this setup will rub?

Also, my front suspension is lifted w/the stock shocks using Revtek spacers. Can I install Billstein 5100's w/out messing up the height?

You'll rub, I rub with 17x8 -10 offset with spidertrax 1.25 spacers all around. With x9s I think it'll be too much poke. At full lock I still rub, even with the shrockworks bumper.

No lift- I put 1.25" all pro spacers on stock wheels and tires and had no rub. Then I put on Firestone destination 285/75/17's on and was rubbing front and back of the fender. Fixed the front by moving the fender forward like in the mod. I don't think the back can be fixed as easily though as it rubs right where the fender meets a part of the frame. It doesn't look like its rubbing much, but definitely rubbing. Sucks because it looks real good stance wise with the 1.25" spacers. I found a company that makes hub centric 1" spacers a few weeks ago, but now I can't find it.

So I have a single pair of 1.25" all pro spacers for sale, lol. I might just run 1.25" in the back and 1" in the front. Unless someone can chime in and tell me how to get the 1.25" to work without rubbing.

I had that same setup .. what kind of tires are you running. with BFG MTs i was rubbing. with falken town and countrys i did not. I am also running adjustable control arms and needed to bring the caster all the way to the front.

Hey adio3x is your ride lifted?
This sux, the 4runner lifted would look so nice wider stance, but I don't want be rubbing everytime I make a sharp turn.

D2dak I'm running Procomp extreme m/t. Do you think w/those adjustable uca ur loosing fender/wheel clearance?

Blazed I would think there would be more clearance if yOu lifted ur ride... Any plans on a lift?

I don't want to go get a crazy lift, I was thinking more of a level. At first I said the rake doesn't bother me, but now the more I am on this website and the more I look at it, I want to level out the front. Probably just Bilstein 5100's up front as it seems like that is the way to go.

@blazed I once said the same thing, but after the lift I felt like was on top of the world. I was actually taller then some lifted trucks and it felt good!! Maybe try hoppin in someone's lifted runner and u might change ur mind....

@mikey I agree adio has a sick a$$ ride. His runner and few other other runners on here are great inspirations for building a monster ride!!! Keep up the great mods!! And everyone thanx for the info.
