Will a 2002-2004 radio from a camry work w/our 3rd gen?

NEWBIE HERE. MY OEM FACTORY RADIO FINALLY TOOK A SH%T. I LOVE OEM+ LOOK. WILL AN 2002-2004 CAMRY RADIO WORK? I'D LIKE THE AUX FUNCTION. I'VE ATTACHED THE LINK BELOW. PLEASE ADVISE.

I am sorry to say NO.
The face plate is big and will not fit in the location. The toyota 6 disk changes are poorly built those will break the disk changing mechanism far too quickly. I use a Subaru 6-cd indash changer instead. It has the same face plate but it is about a centimeter long so it will stick out a bit.

Bolts match up 100% percent. The only thing you have to do is to get the wiring right. It is easy too. I use one of these for almost 6 years and no complains!

Search the 3rd gen section for a Scion swap - if memory serves, some folks on here have done that.

Thanks Nissanh. This radio looks like it might work. I'm trying keep it OEM+ as much as I can.

Do you need a radio/cd/cass? I think I have one from a 2002 4Runner with red backlighting. PM me. It would be cheap...

edit: I just looked at that link. That will have green back lighting. Mine will be 1/4 of that.

This one will fit. It's not mine. You need to pull out what you have and note the part number. This one hooks to a small amp in the lower dash before it joins the harness. That's how it was set up in my 2000 4Runner. He only wants $35.

The reason I have the red backlit one is like you I wanted to stay OEM. It was sold to me as a 2002 and I didn't like the red. I was given a Crutchfield gift card by my family so I joined the new millennium.
