MPG with Baja Rack
I did notice a decrease in mileage.
I drove from San Diego to Phoenix last week with and without the rack and going @ 80 mph (speed limit 75 in AZ) got 18.5 with the rack off and avg'd 17.2 with the rack on.
I am going to take off the wind deflecting plate on the front of the rack and see what that does. But in general, I think you will lose a little. You are adding parasitic drag (wind resistance), which increases exponentially as you go faster.
