Will These Wheels Fit?

Hey guys, I came across these on craigslist and was wondering weather they would fit of not. Dont know that much about wheels and tire sizing so any help would be appreciated.

Here are the wheels:

Z71 chevy rims and tires

No, the center bore on chevy rims are too small, they will not fit over the lip on the hub.

These can fit using wheel spacers which make them lug centric instead of hub centric. The hub bore is too small but bolt pattern is spot on. The wheel spacers bypass the bore and connect the wheel at the lugs. By the time you buy the wheel spacers (must be a decent size, like the 1.25 SpiderTraxx) and buy the wheels/tires, you'll be far enough in to buy some new tires for your stock wheels, assuming you want those for the tires. Unless you just want the Chevy wheels on a Toyota. If so, wheel spacers can make them fit. Otherwise it's a no go.

I wouldn't advise it.. You would have to run lug-centric spacers which don't happily suit our rigs. Trust me, I've done it and was lucky enough to not have any catastrophic failure before I sold the wheels.

Which spacers were you running with that setup? And it sounds to me like if they don't fit at first, making them fit may not be such a good idea. haha

I had all-pro lug centric 1.25" spacers. They fit the bore size for our hubs but are flush on the outside so you can fit whatever wheel you want as long as it has the same lug pattern. But, I don't advise this as you will end up with a horrible ride (bump steer, wobbling, etc..) and also run the risk of catastrophic failure like a wheel coming off.

Hmm, ok. Well I guess this is a bad then. I was looking at them because I like the wheels and the tires. In all honesty almost any wheels are better than the 96-98 4Runner wheels...

I personally don't think those wheels would look good on a 3rd Gen

You could dismount the tires and take them to a shop and have the bores opened up. I think you only need to remove something like 5mm in diameter. With labor for the machine work and dismount/mount tires, you might be adding a couple hundred to the price, unless you have some buddies. I don't think they look terrible at all, just need the Chevy logo removed.

Running a wheels that are not hub centric is very likely to cause balancing/vibration issues, thats why many people stick with another toyota oem wheel when they get rid of the factory split spokes.
There are some people who have said they use after market wheels that are lug centric with out problems but I would say if you search the site you will see that the majority of people who have done this regret it. Especially with heavy tires like those hankooks there will probably be balancing issues even with hub centric rims.
