Will turning sharp/accelerating on damp or gritty pavement give a spin-out feel

Will turning sharp/accelerating on damp or gritty pavement give a spin-out feel due to rear traction (T4R, SR5, 2007, V6, 2WD)? I have noticed this feel a number of times and felt it has to do with what the rear differential detects and reacts to vs an actual spinning.

In 3-4 situations, I have gone back to the to the slow traffic neighborhood intersections (stop signs vs lights) and examined for a causes. In all cased I have felt with walking tennis what is mild slippage due to grit or dampness. It has not been a control issue vs what is happening to cause the spin-out feel (w/o seeing signs of spinning)?

Any rear wheeled drive it gonna slide and slip even more that that's it's wet and you're hitting the gas.

Tho the 4Runner is pretty torqy you'll get used to it until the traction control kicks in.

Be warned its not very good in the snow I have managed to fish tail it violently and not on purpose. And once is start fish tailing it's to say the least not easy to recover it in this truck
