Winch question.

Hi, is it possible to install a winch on a 2011 trail with no aftermarket bumper ? I don't mind cutting. I was told there is no place to fix it if you don't get metal bumper... Just want to make sure. Thanks

Yes but you will need to build or buy what is called a hidden winch mount.

A couple company's make them (not 100% they all make them for all years of 4runner)

And you have limited room, so you are limited on which winches will fit and/or you may have to modify the winch. The hidden mount manufacturers will know which ones work with their product.

I have a full size superwinch talon 12.5, I had to relocate the solenoid for a clean fit. It would fit but you would have to tweak the light gauge cross member behind the upper grill.
