Winter Coilover Prep - Wax?

Hey folks, I just bought some BP-51's for my 18' TRD OR, but I'll be installing them right as we're coming into the winter season here in Michigan.

I'd like to coat them with a wax or something before I get them on the vehicle so they're ready for any salts that they encounter. Does anyone have anything that they recommend? I plan on buying the coilover covers from ICON, but I'd like some type of wax barrier between the anodized metal and the f****ing salt. :whipping2

Granted I have never driven in an area that heavily salts roads, but in the winter I like to take my vehicle to one of those drive in carwashes every couple of weeks and spray the undercarriage off. I'm not sure how I feel about using a coilover cover to keep salt out... If it gets in that'll give it a hell of an environment to eat in.

I know that Icon recommends your wax the body of their coilovers and shocks annually with your typical paste wax. Couldn't hurt!

Enjoy the BP-51s. They're the best suspension setup I have ever owned.
