WMW Tooob Bumper Build

Perforated metal is in. I think it'll look good once it's black and the top plate is on keeping the light out from that area. Got some cheap signals mounted in while I look for some good LED ones.

Bolted on with shiny new hardware (12 points of attachment!) then cleaned up the giant mess it all left in my garage!

I can cannot wait to see GEN 2, complete with the new metal inserts, and grill guard on my 3 gen...
 
Josh your bumper came out epic!! You truly have a natural knack for building hardware for our beloved 4Runners!!

Now that you have your front bumper done...lets get serious and build a rear bumper with a swing-a-way tire carrier. Because you know I need....oops...I'm mean you really need one :peep:....lol!!!

Thank a ton guys. This one is pretty much done. I got the smittybuilt 9500lb winch in there but am waiting on a hawse fairlead since the roller unit is just huge and doesn't fit the contour of the bumper well at all. The winch fits but it's a magic trick getting the bolts in after the bumper is on. If you had a buddy, or a jack, putting it all on in one shot would be best so you can get at the winch bolts more easily. Hit it with some bedliner and called it good. Should be ready for orders any time now.

Are you still going to do the one with guards?

Ok, finally got the dang hawse fairlead, good grief. Mounted the winch, then put the whole bumper back on. This one is done and ready for my wife's next trip to Target:doh:
