Won't Shift

I recently purchased an 88 5speed manual and currently the only time I drive it is moving it to the other side of the street every night. Starting not to long ago Iv'e been having a problem where it won't shift when the truck is turned on. I can't get it out of first gear or reverse with the clutch pushed all the way in so I turn it off. When the truck is off I can shift perfectly fine with the clutch in or out. I believe the clutch is hydraulic(don't know if that helps or not).

I have no idea what is going on here and it's really bothering me. If you guys can help me out and leave me with some ideas, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your clutch master, slave cyl. or both could be bad or you are out of fluid and you need to add some and then bleed the system. Worst case your throw out bearing or clutch fingers are trashed or clutch fork is broken.

Had any luck?

I have and have had issues with the bracket that the clutch and brake pedal mount to. Take a look under the dash and see if the bracket is cracked. Mine does it in the upper left corner.
