Worst nightmare realized!

Ok, i call shenanigans on the title...there are way worse things that can happen to your t4r than a little spill.

Its a truck not a vw rabbit cabriolet...

You are a man..not a little girl...

man up! clean up...move on...

;)

ps: i laughed my @ss off when i heard my inlaws dumped a 5gallon bucket of honey in their minivan... and didnt discover it till the next day...ha..that's worse than milk.

Title was meant as humorous. I've caught tons of flack from other users. Lesson learned. I'll rethink my comedy/humor in the future. Although still not an ideal situation since my wife treated her new Altima like a third child, AND THIS IS HOW SHE TREATS MY TRUCK! LOL!

i think i was just whiplashed by the contrast between the dramatic thread title and its decidedly less dramatic content.

i was a bit harsh. sorry about that.

One year around Xmas time my Beagle, Petey, decided to eat an entire bag of the holiday Hershey Kisses. You know, the ones with the red, green and silver foil.

We had to rush him to the Vett where they gave ole Pete something to make him vomit. I thought that was kinda funny because the dog would eat anything and not puke. Anyway, back to the story.

They had him in the back for a good 1/2 hour and proclaimed he: "Threw up more chocolate than they ever thought possible..." and that he was good to go.

Car ride home. Pete gave me a loving stare (presumably for saving his life) and proceeded to expel another pound of steaming, colorful Xmas foil laced chocolate sauce into my truck's center console and my future wife's lap.

Then, my wife threw up all over the dash. :)

It smelled like that until I sold it a year later. You NEVER forget the smell of chocolate dog puke. NEVER.

I didn't need to visualize that, thank you very much Mr. Jeff...

Don't know if you steam cleaned it yet, but equal cups of water, white vinegar and rubbing alcohol is every good cleaner/odor neutralizer.

Milk is protein-based and when protein spoils//rottens, you won't get the smell out short of replacing the carpet and cleaning the hard surface.

But the good part is, you're living in Belgium and I'd take a stinky 4Runner to do that any time...

Thanks for the some of the sympathy. This is obviously not my worst nightmare, just a headache I was hoping to avoid until I get a cargo liner.

Okki - I live about 45km southwest of Brussels. I'm military and actually bought my 4Runner over here through military sales.

Sandcrawler - got plenty of LE. Lived in 5 different states and 6 different countries (Okinawa was my favorite); I enjoyed all the unique opportunities that each place had to offer. I'm only 27. I've got more LE than a lot of people my age. That being said, I'm not even close to being done going after all the experiences I can get. The 4Runner and the world that it opens up being one of those experiences.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences, some of those sound pretty rough.

Glad you liked Okinawa. I came here in 1991 in the Air Force and never left. Love it here!
Sorry about the milk.

Sorry about the milk.

I'm Air Force too. Went to oki as a dependent and active. Wish I would've never left. I'm gonna do everything possible to get back there.

No hard feelings man. I try to land jokes by exaggerating sometimes, they aren't always everyone's cup of tea. Also, they don't always hit base like I originally planned (this is one of those). Oh well, you win some you lose some.

I guess that's your opinion.
Just like my opinion, I agree with his title.
And it's not a vw or a truck, trucks have beds.
And the man/little girl comment was uncalled for
