Wow! Just saw a 2016 SR5 FXP...

I'm sure you couldn't resist opening, asking yourself WTH is the 4R FXP.

This dealer branded there own lift package, figured I would share with you all. It had XD rims, NITRO rubber, sliders (forgot the brand) and the dreaded spacers. And their own decal. Was at Foothills Toyota. Looked nice, just wouldn't want the spacers, or the decal.

I have seen a lot of dealers do in house kits for the off road guys, and most of them do stuff like this. The cheapest stuff they can get from trans America and then charge way too much for it.

In Colorado Springs there is a dealer that builds an in house kit called the TRD Dealer Package. They do Toytec Boss lift, TRD Wheels, TRD Pro front clip conversion, TRD Pro Badges, TRD Shifter, Roof Basket, Hefty Fabworks Sliders and Skids, smokes headlight and tail lights and window tint. they do it on SR5 or Trails. They still charge a ton for it, but at least they use quality parts and its all covered under the Toyota Warranty.

Bleh! They do this crap in San Jose all of the time. I love reading the window stickers where they "itemize" all of the aftermarket junk they install. The lift packages usually range anywhere for $3500-5000 on top of the already marked up vehicle msrp. The Steven's Creek Toyota dealer does it on SR5 T4R's and Tacoma's all the time, raising the prices significantly

I mean, seriously. My wishlist on Toytech has a Bilstein 6112/5160 combo, ICON springs, UCAs, full RCI Aluminium Skids and steel sliders. $3,800.

I can't count how many "special" edition wranglers there are.... arctic edition, mw3, willys, etc. Most are badges and leather seats. lol
