Wow - old vs. new remote key

The battery was getting low in my remote for my 2001 so I took a battery from the second remote which has sat in a drawer for seven years. Its amazing how smooth the one I used is versus the "new" one with pebble grain.

I switched out the main remote I use too, I didn't like how it got all smooth and greasy looking, but I've about worn this one all the way down too because both were used simultaneously

Isn't it amazing how it's so gradual that you never notice the change?
